Spiritually Discerning The Beginning of the Last Days of the End Times

The Beginning of the Last Days of the End Times

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3)

Let’s discern.   His promise to His disciples in Matthew 24, was He would return at the end of the Age.  This age he was referring to, was the processional Age of Pisces, which began just before Christ was born.  It is no coincidence that the sign of the fish (the symbol for Pisces) has always been associated with Christianity, in fact it was a secret sign between the early church, used to designate meeting places and keep them secret from the Romans, they would etch the sign of the fish into the ground.  It’s obvious to many who are watching the signs that the Last Days of the End Times has begun.  Processional Ages last approximately 2160 years.

The term ‘End Times’ has been associated with the Age of Pisces, from the time Jesus left the earth and ascended into heaven.  Others believe the ‘End Times’ began when the Jews returned to their homeland Israel in 1948, which is the fulfillment of End Times Prophecy in Ezekiel 37.  Suffice it to say, we are not only living in the ‘End Times’, but the last days of the End Times on Earth.

“…and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. Just as weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so it will be at end of the age. ” (Matthew 13:39,40)

“This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous.” (Matthew 13:49)

Considered to be the Great Commission, before Jesus ascended to heaven, He told his disciples:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19,20)

We live in the dispensation of the mystery, Ephesians 3:1-10:

“… that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.  In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets.  This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.

I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of his power. Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,  and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.  His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The Rapture is a mystery, Believers need to beware of faith-shattering predictions and predictors.

1Corinthians 15:51-55:

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written in Isaiah 25:8 and Hosea 13:14 will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

“Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”

The current Blood Moon mania has turned into one of those faith-shattering predictions. Yes, eclipses bring about changes.  They happen like clockwork, every 6 months. Nothing supernatural about that. It’s scientific, astronomical and mathematical. However, when you start to take astronomical events and use them as predictors for human and world events, that’s Astrology. Let’s just be clear and identify, what the Blood Moon mania is,using Astrology to try to match Bible Prophecy, we run into all kinds of error and mixed with false teachings.

Passover and Sukkot are going to land on a blood moon every so many years because the Jewish calendar combines both the lunar and solar calendar, unlike the Arab (Muslim) calendar which is only lunar.  Passover and Sukkot are always on Full Moons.

To experience four Blood Moon Lunar Eclipses in a row on Jewish Feast days within two years in Israel is considered somewhat rare but actually has occurred seven times before since the time of Yeshua (Jesus).  Pastor John Hagee says in his book and movie of the same name, The Blood Moons, that the Blood Moons of 2014/2015 will be the last Blood Moon Tetrad for the next 100 years, this is simply not true! Because Passover and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), always fall on Full Moons, therefore the mathematical probability that the Feasts will have a Lunar Eclipse is high, and the probability that it will be Total Lunar Eclipse, (which is a Blood Moon), is also patterned and cyclical.

Total lunar eclipses can often result in the moon appearing red, orange or amber, and sometimes even a deep red. Back in ancient times, when an eclipse producing a red moon occurred at the time of one of Israel’s feasts, it was referred to as a “blood moon,” because of the “blood sacrifices” that these feasts often required.

The Jewish Talmud (book of tradition / Interpretation) says; “When the moon is in eclipse, it is a bad omen for Israel. If its face is as red as blood, (it is a sign that) the sword is coming to the world.”  We witnessed this last year immediately following the first Blood Moon of this Tetrad when Hamas in Gaza attacked Israel with missiles and rockets daily for seven weeks in the summer of 2014.  We have also witnessed since that time, the rise of antisemitism in Europe that has regressed to pre-WWII levels, causing thousands of Jews to flee Europe and move to Israel.  What’s different about this decade, is that fleeing to Israel, is something Jews did not have the opportunity to do during WWII, as Israel became a independent state for the Jewish Homeland after the war in 1948.

The only problem with the 3rd blood moon in this Tetrad, is that it was not seen over Israel, but seen over America.  It appears with the present tension between President Obama and Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and their differences over the Iran nuclear deal and the Palestinians,  hallmarks this 3rd Blood Moon. This relational shift may end up ‘eclipsing’ Israel’s need for the United States to be their ‘nanny’ and tell them what to do anymore.   While most Americans today support Israel as America’s closest ally in the Middle East in spite of this rift between the leaders, the decisions being made by America’s leaders did not bode well for Israel, and for US-Israeli relations, which may lead to Israel acting on their own in the future to protect themselves.

We know that this Tetrad is significant in the way it falls during the Shemitah year, which is the 70th of seven year cycles, leading to the jubilee year.

Will something significant happen?  Of course, it already is.  World War III is being formed, we are at the beginning of the last days of the End Times. However, there has been a lot of misinformation put out about blood moons, saying that this won’t happen for another 100 years, which proves to be false.

Below are the lunar eclipses and blood moons for this 21st Century from NASA’s website. The asterisk represents the Paschal Full Moon always preceded Easter. The plus sign represents the lunar eclipse with Passover.  As you can see, Blood moons, which are total lunar eclipses, are not that uncommon, it is due to mathematical probability, that they will fall on both Passover and Easter, which are always on Full Moons, and Full Moons get lunar eclipses regularly, and when these lunar eclipses are in totality, they are considered Blood Moons as it is this year and will repeat again in 2033 and again 2061.

Poefwrul post. When I was a chaplain at a drug & alcohol rehab center we used to have patients write some of their past story down, and then many of them chose to burn them. They gloried in the smoke and residue of paper floating off into the air, their painful thoughts and feelings floating off with them.WB
